First play date

First Official Play Date

Today we had a lot of fun visiting with our friends Jana, Chad, Megan, and Cohen Morris at their home along with another great friend Kristen Terkelson!  Sorry I only snapped a few pictures of Jackson with Megan (Cohen was napping!).  You can check these out on Facebook.  Maybe, I'll learn how to do these play date things a little better as I go.  We took raspberry jello and whipped cream along with pink lemonade.  Mrs. Jana made a yummy pasta salad and served grapes and sandwiches.  Mrs. Kristen brought some chips with guacamole and peach salsa (yum!). Thanks ladies!  I thoroughly enjoyed our conversation and a day out of our routine.  We'll have to have another play date soon.  Next time, we'll host!  :)

Jackson enjoyed all of the light up and musical toys Megan showed him while he laid on the floor on her soft link blanket!  He loves to kick and play on the floor these days.  We also took a short walk to the neighborhood park to let Megan play on the playground.  We didn't stay long because of the extreme Texas heat, but had fun walking.  Another fun memory...when we arrived, Cohen was so excited he kept screaming "Bee bee" (toddler translation of baby).  He was so   excited to see Jackson.  He even went to tell his daddy (who was working from home) about the "bee bee" in the house!

I would say our first play date was a HUGE success!

Happy 4th Y'all!

Welcome to the newest Lindsay blog, Lindsay's Loop.  We will be posting pictures and news here to help you keep up with us from now on!

Here are a few more picts from Jackson's 1st 4th yesterday.  Blaire's aunt Sandy gave her the idea of putting him on the flag to take the picts!  Thanks Aunt Sandy!  I think they turned out adorable!
